I’m often asked, what does GEO PSI do? Technically we manufacture, install, and service continuous downhole pressure monitoring systems. While that may be interesting, there are at least 20 other companies in the world that can claim the same.

“I believe what makes us unique is that we are actually selling accountability to our customers.”

Accountability Means Being Responsible

Responsibility is being in charge of delivering a satisfactory outcome.

For a company to be truly responsible for successful downhole instrumentation installations, it must be fully in charge of the key processes and this is where GEO PSI differs from almost any other downhole instrumentation company.

Manufacturing Process - Vertically Integrated

GEO PSI engineers, manufacturers, and quality controls all of the electronic sensors, instrumentation cable, and mechanical components in a permanent downhole gauge assembly.  Controlling the process means that we control the reliability and long-term performance of our system. Additionally, all the components are engineered to work together in order to make them simpler to deploy in the field.

Installation and Support Process – Integrated Service

At GEO PSI we have a service division which installs downhole instrumentation in Canada, USA, and Kuwait. In addition to that, we have partners around the world who we work closely with to ensure the highest quality of service no matter what country you are in. Our downhole instrumentation technicians are experienced with several types of deployment scenarios including downhole instrumentation for artificial lift, cemented in systems, high-temperature systems, and suspended systems. Furthermore, we have a SCADA engineering department and knows how to deliver the data. We provide after sales support and training for service company partners and agents of GEO PSI.

Deliverability Process

Now that downhole instrumentation has become mainstream, it’s important to be prepared to capitalize on opportunities. GEO PSI has the largest inventory of permanent downhole sensors, instrumentation cable, cable protectors, and surface electronics in the marketplace. Our turnaround for standard equipment packages is often same day. We facilitate concurrent services at a time and can successfully manage large-scale projects.

Accountability – At GEO PSI the buck stops here!

Downhole Instrumentation for Fracturing Operations

Communication between Frac wells is common in high well volume operating fields. The effects of this communication can vary from environmental leaks to equipment damage. Having the ability to monitor downhole pressures allows companies to observe pressure changes in nearby wells during frac operations of adjacent wells.  Monitoring pressure during the fracturing operation is vital
