GEOEM 125 – Wireless Downhole Gauge

The GEOEM 125 gauge is a truly wireless monitoring solution for acquiring downhole data. Utilizing finely tuned proprietary technology, this gauge can transmit a wireless electromagnetic signal through the earth. This signal can be easily received and decoded at surface to provide critical pressure, temperature, vibration, & inclination data in real-time. Depending on sample rate and subsurface geology, this gauge can reliably transmit uninterrupted data for years at depths previously thought impossible.

Wireless Electromagnetic Telemetry

Our GEOEM 125 Gauge leverages a proven and finely tuned electromagnetic communication technology. Add in some GEO PSI engineering magic, and our gauge is able to perform reliably in a wide range of depths and geology with no need for repeaters.

No Cable – No Clamps – No Fuss

With the truly wireless design of the GEOEM 125, there is no longer any need for downhole cable, or other accessories such as clamps or carriers to complete systems with complex completions or high workover frequency. All that is required is to thread the gauge to the end of the tubing string, and set up ground rods at surface to receive the signal.

By eliminating the need to run a downhole cable to the gauge, it can reduce the overall cost of the system on completions which are highly deviated or horizontal and would require long cable lengths. It also eliminates cable related failures, and can simplify workovers.

Wells with high vibration or frequent workovers will also benefit from the elimination of clamps and gauge carriers. Removing them from the completion simplifies workovers, and can reduce the number of items which can potentially fall downhole and need to be fished out.

100,000maH Of Replaceable Battery

Our GEOEM 125 comes with an impressive 100,000maH battery. With such a significant capacity in such a compact design our gauge is able to run consistently for years depending on the well conditions.

The battery sits above the sensor accounting for a majority of the mass of the gauge. The health and remaining life of the battery can be monitored from surface, and when the battery runs out it can be safely replaced further extending the life of the gauge itself.

Worlds Smallest EM Gauge

Our GEOEM 125 gauge is comprised of two components. The first being the sensor, and second being the gap sub assembly which houses the battery and aids in the propagation of the wireless signal. Our EM sensor is the smallest on the market coming in at only 7” in length.
